FRESHLY SQUEEZED: MARCH 2026

A run through of March’s new releases

LAME

Mulberries

LAME dig in on Mulberries, a snarling, high-octane burst of indie-punk that barely gives you time to catch your breath. Guitars scrape and clash over jittery drums, while the vocals ride a line between sneer and confession. Short, sharp and unapologetically wired, it channels restless energy into every second, making it another thrilling reminder why the Northampton trio are ones to watch.

Freya Rose

Over-Saturation

Freya Rose dives headfirst into maximalism on Over-Saturation, a standout track from her new EP. Layers of shimmering synths, punchy percussion and soaring vocals collide in a rush of color and intensity, balancing pop sensibility with experimental flair. It’s bold, immersive and impossible to ignore, showcasing her knack for turning emotional highs into an exhilarating sonic experience.

Headswitcher

The Only One I Wanted

Headswitcher return with The Only One I Wanted, the third release from the Northampton grunge trio and it hits with bruising clarity. Fuzzy, distorted guitars and snarling drums propel a vocal that’s equal parts raw frustration and aching melody. Short, sharp and unapologetically intense, the track cements Headswitcher’s reputation for delivering grunge that’s both nostalgic and undeniably their own.

Stereocauses

Stick It

Stereocauses smash through on Stick It, a bristling slice of grunge‑tinged alt‑rock that refuses to take prisoners. Jagged guitars clash with driving drums, while the vocals snarl and spit with defiant attitude. Clocking in tight and unrelenting, the track packs a punch that lingers long after the last chord, proving the Northampton trio can still surprise and exhilarate without overcomplicating things.
